I do really wish i knew how you go about making an illustration, though! Everything you make is amazingly fantastic and well rendered (and i am so jealous).
I kept the process for this actually, maybe you'll find it interesting. To be honest though, I doubt there will be many surprises. I'm pretty sure we have similar influences - I think we probably work in much the same way!
Your pig-dragon is worth a thousand snowy-cabin vermont oil paintings. Would you mind posting the process to this?
