The hammered dulcimer: not interesting but very difficult to draw.
This illustration has been frustrating me for weeks - conflicting descriptions in the source text, my own refusal to commit to a particular style for the project, accidentally locking myself in to the dull colours I sketched it in etc etc. I declare the frustration over! It's fine as it is.
